Nebraska and Penn St. were historical non conference rivals and I think its a shame that there is no longer inter division annual rival games in B1G.

Wow how the tables have turned. Little ole Texas Tech getting raped in a two year old PSU blog . Its seems to be indicative of a long term, on going, widespread lack of institutional control regarding all things Penn State. Funny to read from a historic perspective. And aggy will always be aggy.

I played against Kenny Jackson at a national basketball esposure camp called Five Star in Pittsburg Pa. in the summer of 1979. Kenny went heads up with Tennessee Vols point guard Tyrone Beaman who was about 5-11 and quick as they come. I was a 4.4 forty yard dash guy myself. I recall Kenny grabbing a rebound and racing down the court with the ball and I could not catch him. He was that fast, but he was quicker than the speed he had. I pride myself on being blessed with quickness....until I played against Kenny. So I know first hand what defensive backs where looking at. By the way, Kenny, we won the Five Star tournament from you and Clyde Vaugh. D. Holmes

Bottom Line: Bolden does not have 'it' - that is pocket presence, vision - despite his height; he holds onto the ball too long and he cannot anticipate and he has no real 'on field leadership' - I wish him well, but what Penn State desparately needs is a 'Bill O'Brien Quarterback ; in time, we will see that - Best of luck to Rob and his family - Go Lions!

You think we are the douche bags? U of M fans are the worst, they walk around thinking they're hot shit while they're currently the joke of the conference. There's a reason why Michigan is the least liked team in the Big Ten...

The story of John Cappeletti and his brother Joey is heartwarming. It should long be remembered along with the lifetime commitment Joe Paterno gave to Penn State. These people serve as lofty examples to us all.

Talkin Football just stated that Penn State was probably going to play Georgia in the Outback Bowl this year. I hope they're correct. I live near Tampa and would love to see either Penn State or Michigan play Georgia. What a game. I think I'll go ahead and buy my Outback Bowl tickets before the prices go through the roof. Go Big Ten!!!
